The Costaccia mountain hut is located at 2362m, at the arrival point of the “Livigno – Centro” gondola lift.
On the ground floor is the bar and fast food self-service restaurant/sandwich bar.
There is also a large outdoor solarium with a spectacular view over the valley of Livigno, where they cook the famous polenta in a cauldron and succulent barbequed meats.
The first floor of the hut is home to a renowned à la carte restaurant, where the local culinary traditions are skilfully revisited, enhanced and presented in a familiar and charming setting.
The house specialities are the typical dishes of traditional Valtellinese cuisine, including gnocchi livignaschi, pizzoccheri, polenta, mushroom tagliatelle, pork ribs, sausages and fillet.
After the meal, you can’t miss the homemade desserts from the Biancaneve patisserie and the new historic ‘latte di cervo’ (deer milk) liqueur.
